Best Albums Of 2021

Despite the date above, this list is actually being posted in December of 2025, as I make the move to publish these lists online rather than having them live on social media.

“Hey, this list sort of sucks,” I hear you say.

“Yeah, you’re not wrong,” you hear me agree, sadly.

In 2021, I decided to try and list my favourite records of the year. After all, it was COVID times, and in 2020, I began actually listing ratings for the records I would listen to.

I don’t know why I didn’t use that list for these ratings, because what I apparently seemed to do was just pick out the first 20 albums that felt as though they resonated with me at that given moment.

It’s not a terrible list (though it is sort of laughable) but it could have been much better if I was beholden to the method I utilise these days.

Oh well. Live and learn.
