Despite the date above, this list is actually being posted in December of 2025, as I make the move to publish these lists online rather than having them live on social media.
In 2022, I decided to be a little more focused in my annual listening habits and actively attempt to present a list which gave a far stronger representation of the music I’m exposed to each year, as opposed to my laughable efforts the year prior.
In this list, I only recorded ratings for 141 records, though again, I may have forgotten to rate some throughout the year due to the tumult of what was happening professionally at this time.
In hindsight, I’m quite happy with how this list looks, and I’d definitely still rate my No. 1 album into that same spot if I could do it over again.
